The Shingijutsu Story
In the business world, there’s been a lot of talk about change:
why to change, when to change and how to change. That talk
has led many companies to resort to the prevailing “change
movement of the moment.” There was re-engineering in the eighties,
outsourcing in the nineties and the new century began with a wave
of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. But when it came to achieving
sustainable high performance, guess what? Not much has changed except
with Shingijutsu. Since its inception in 1987, Shingijutsu
has quietly and effectively led many companies on very successful
transformations by harmonizing quality, quantity and timing. While
others fell away as a “fad of the month”, Shingijutsu
has remained.
At Shingijutsu, we believe the key to successful process improvement
begins with changing the way you think — about the nature of
work and the way you value and honor (yes, honor) both your employees
and the work they do.
The Shingijutsu Experience
Working with Shingijutsu will be unlike any other experience you
have had before. They expect total commitment and engagement. They
teach, not in a classroom but from the Genba. They
force you to question yourself and the way you have always done things. Shingijutsu
methodologies are rooted in nature and in creating a Zen-like harmony
in doing business. While it may take a while to understand and
embrace the Shingijutsu way, the end result is well worth the effort.
A New Body of Thought Revolutionary? No, not really. Shingijutsu’s philosophy is
actually rooted in nature; in the perennial harmony that empowers
living environments, ecosystems and the human body. We believe it’s
the same with business.
The dynamic elements of a successful company are just as diverse, just as interconnected as those in the human body — continually working together to produce, to improve, and to thrive. Improvement requires an holistic approach, because when one part of the system goes awry, all aspects of the system are affected.
