1st North America Genba Kaizen Seminar June 8-16, 2009

In June twenty individuals from around the world came together at The Hon Company in Cedartown, Georgia to learn about and get hands on experience in Kaizen. Teamed with workers from the host site, each participant was able to take the concepts learned on day one to the Genba and make immediate changes for the targeted areas. The five teams worked during the week to improve quality, create flow, and remove waste. The Shingijutsu Sensei (teachers) spent the week working closely with the participants to create a base of knowledge that they could draw from when working continuous improvement projects in their own organization or companies.
