1st European Genba Kaizen Seminar, June 28 – July 3, 2010

From June 28 to July 2, 2010 the 1st European Genba Kaizen was held at Asco, in Brussels Belgium. This was a unique and exciting event for all in attendance. This was the first event of its kind held in Europe by Shingijutsu USA. As with other Genba Kaizen events, the teachings and applications of Kaizen practices and principles learned were applied to the various target areas, the main difference was that it was all done in four different languages. The Shingijutsu Sensei guided members of the Asco Kaizen Promotion Office, the students from Sonaca and Asco to accomplish stunning results. By the end of the week entire work areas were moved to increase flow and reduce waste, inventories were reduced, machines were moved to achieve a flow cell, simulations of different design concepts and flows were completed. Comments from participants included:
